Chardon Living Memorial Park Chardon, OH

What is your refund policy?

No refunds will be issued.  This includes requests made due to injury, surgery, pregnancy, personal circumstances, date conflicts and professional commitments.  This is an industry standard policy and not unique to our event. We will however allow race registrations to be transferred, simply use the contact us form and provide the person's name and email address that you would like to transfer your registration to. Making arrangements to transfer funds to cover the costs of registration will be the responsibility of participants. Once arangements have been made use the contact us page to alert us of the registration swap.

Do you offer special registration for groups or teams?

Because we are raising money for the Maintenance of the Chardon Living Memorial Park as our primary beneficiary, we regret that we are not able to provide registration discounts for special groups or teams.

Am I able to change my shirt size before the event?

We will make every attempt to honor everyone's shirt request but once the order is placed we will have limited sizes available. If you would like to have your registration updated with a new shirt size please use the contact us page to request the change.

Can I pick up someone else's race packet at the expo?

Yes. Please just make sure you know their birthdate and shirt size so that we can verify this information.

Do you offer race day packet pick-up?

Yes, We will post the exact location of race day packet pick up on the site as it is finalized

Do you offer advanced packet pick-up?

Stay tuned for more details regarding the race day packet pick up location and time. We will add this information to the Packet pick up page as details become available.

Can I run or walk with an iPod or other personal music device?

The short answer is yes.  We do however ask that you keep the device volume low enough that you can hear other runners or course officials while you are running

What timing device is the event using?

All Great Lakes Race Timing events are timed using official chip timing equipment. You will have an official Chip Start time and Chip Finish time and your actual race time is the difference between those two times. Overall award winners will be based off Gun Time and not Chip time so if you think you will be in the top 3 overall - don't start too far back in the pack.

Are you allowed to push a jogging stroller in any of the races?

Yes, however the course does have some significant downhill sections so we encourage you to make sure you feel safe pushing your stroller in these sections before bringing them to the race. We also encourage you to consider the conditions before bringing your children to the race.

Where does the race start?

Stay tuned as the race route will be reviewed by the City of Chardon for approval!

Can I bring my dog?

This race is considered dog friendly. A couple things to keep in mind before bringing your dog.

  • Does your dog get along well with other dogs?
  • Does your dog get along well in large groups of people?
  • Are you ready to stop in the middle of the race to clean up after your dog?
